Definition of Cuticle Flooding

  1. A watery, thin polish can be hard to control, running down the brush and flooding the cuticle area and/or the sides of the nail with polish. Alternately, a thick polish might seep like lava or “gloop” from the brush, achieving the same (annoying) effect. Either way, not what you want to see. A polish with a good formula will be thick enough not to run, so that it’s easily controlled, yet still be thin enough to spread easily and evenly.
